The mystical Christmas spirit takes Captain Scrooge on a journey through time and space to find the meaning of Christmas. The whole family will enjoy seeing giant Christmas toys come to life as those toys perform acrobatics high above the lagoon. Audience members will also enjoy the hijinks of a comical castaway and her sea lion companion.
Much more than that is in store as the show features an epic battle between the Crimson and Emerald pirates as they compete for the coveted Christmas treasure on land, on deck, and in water. The battle also makes its way high above two full-sized pirate ships.
The South’s Grandest Christmas Show
Comedic Juggler Slim Chance is new to this season’s The South’s Grandest Christmas Show, and Slim promises to put a new twist on the Christmas season. The show takes place at Alabama Theater, and visitors and locals have voted it the Best Live Entertainment Theater in Myrtle Beach numerous times. The theater got its start when members of the famed country group Alabama decided to bring their unique talents to the rising entertainment industry on the Grand Strand.

Thirteen-year-old Mia Curtis will also return for her second official season at The Carolina Opry Christmas Special, although with her school and dance competitions, her appearance will not be guaranteed for all performances.

Clogging Group that has been seen on NBC’s America’s Got Talent, Tangena Church, Christie Templeton, Chas Croft Sorrells, Nashville recording artist Brad Long, and champion fiddler Trent Wideman.
