What Is Summer Like in Myrtle Beach?

Your dog is part of the family. Here are restaurants that treat them as such.

1. LandShark Bar & Grill

This eatery is in the shadow of SkyWheel, a perfect follow-up or pre-ride visit for grub and drinks. Enjoy an incredible ocean view with pet-friendly seating on the lower outdoor deck. Your server will treat your pooch like a valued customer, too.

2. Tupelo Honey

This southern comfort-food joint welcomes pets on the patio. They even have a special pup menu.

3. The Sneaky Beagle

Visit this laid-back eatery for burgers, paninis, tacos, or Sunday brunch. All they ask is that your pet behaves around other animals — and food, of course.

How much fun can you have in Myrtle Beach if you have to leave your kids behind? Wait, don’t answer that. We kid. You’ll have a blast at these spots.

1. WonderWorks

Learning is so much fun in a place like this, with hands-on science exhibits and a 6D motion ride. Zipline with the kids, or find your family’s groove in laser tag or the ropes course. Children can get lost in wonder in a place like this, and that’s the whole idea.

2. Rockin' Jump Myrtle Beach Trampoline Park

Let the kids let loose in this bouncy spot. They have trampolines, of course, a ninja course, a vertical wall, and tons more adventures.

3. Hollywood Wax Museum

With life-like celebrity wax figures, a zombie lab, and a gift shop, what more could you ask for? Every section is prime for exploration, and boredom doesn’t have a chance.

Sometimes, you want to go it alone. That means no compromise on where you can go — and all the snacks are yours and yours alone.

1. Hit the beach

If you’re taking a solo trip, you might want a little solitude. It’s right there, on the shore, which is accessible from many beachfront properties. Whether it’s a morning run, an afternoon with a good read, or a sunset stroll, you’ll find your peace here.

2. Music on Main

Every Thursday, from June to October, enjoy the beach, country, and pop-rock live in this free event. Bring a beach chair but you might leave it behind to boogie.
