Scheduled to open to the public on May 3rd, The Funplex will be the Grand Strand’s newest amusement park. The Funplex is located right in the heart of Myrtle Beach, on Ocean Boulevard between 14th and 15th Avenue North. Within the friendly confines, guests will discover a unique array of thrill rides that have delighted guests at Funplex’s other two locations. Rides like the twisty, turn-y Sky Velocity, high-octane Mach Fun flight simulator and the unique Fun In The Sun roller coaster, fitting two cars with “hamster wheel” structures that will send riders spinning 360 degrees as they ride down the track! The Funplex will also feature the Off The Coast Bar and Grille, serving up full meals, frosty drinks and traditional fair food favorites like funnel cakes and fried Oreos.
Le Grand Cirque 2.0
Myrtle Beach is no stranger to amazing live entertainment, and this summer Le Grand Cirque 2.0 joins the lineup as the newest live show along the Grand Strand! From June 1st through October 3rd, matinee and nightly shows will dazzle guests with some of the daring and acrobatic exhibitions from world-class gymnasts, artists and performers. The cast of Le Grand Cirque 2.0 have performed before packed crowds around the world, including in the Sydney Opera House and in London’s West End theatre district. Performances will take place in a hue 850-person climate-controlled tent, located in the southeast corner of Broadway at the Beach. Adults and children alike are sure to be delighted by all the thrills on display at the brand new Le Grand Cirque 2.0!
Crooked Hammock Brewery
Recently opened in Barefoot Landing, Crooked Hammock Brewery is sure to become one of North Myrtle Beach’s most popular hangouts! The centerpiece of Crooked Hammock is, of course, the brewery, offering up tantalizing craft beers ranging from their Haulin’ Oats Milk Stout to their Made In the Shade American IPA to their adventurous Savagely Delicious Triple IPA, brewed with real Lucky Charms cereal!
