Myrtle Beach is an awesome place to visit all summer long, but there’s nothing like celebrating Independence Day along the Grand Strand! There will be plenty of big time July 4th celebrations all around Myrtle Beach, culminating in some huge firework displays that will set the night sky ablaze. If you’re planning on being in Myrtle Beach for a July 4th vacation, here are some of the best fireworks displays on the schedule.

Broadway at the Beach

With limitless shopping, dining and entertainment options, it’s always a great time to visit Broadway at the Beach, but during summer things get kicked up a notch with amazing weekly fireworks shows. Each Tuesday and Friday night all summer long, Broadway at the Beach puts on a spectacular fireworks show at 10 PM, but you can be sure they’ll be putting a little extra into the Independence Day extravaganza planned for Sunday, July 4th! 

Cherry Grove Pier

If you’re looking for fireworks out over the ocean, the show at the Cherry Grove Pier is right up your alley! This annual July 4th display has delighted spectators for decades, and after a pause in the action in 2020, the fireworks are back and bigger than ever! Spectators can lounge out on the sandy shoreline of North Myrtle Beach, kick back and watch as the pyrotechnics light up the sky, with the action beginning at 9:30 PM. 

Murrells Inlet Marshwalk

Down on the south end of the Grand Strand, the Murrells Inlet Marshwalk will host an all-day July 4th celebration, beginning with their popular boat parade and ending in an explosive fireworks show over the scenic wetlands. The show can be watched from the boardwalk area as well as from many of the area restaurants, with a number of establishments offering outdoor seating with tremendous views.
