9th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard

There are tons of great places to snap a pic of along Ocean Boulevard, but it’s hard to top all the attractions at the intersection of 9th Avenue North and Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach. This corner of the Grand Strand is home to landmark Myrtle Beach destinations like Peaches Corner and the Bowery. Right across the street is Ripley’s Believe It Or Not, home of hundreds of unique exhibits, as well as Myrtle Beach Zipline Adventures, an adrenaline-filled park with 600-foot long ziplines that reach speeds of up to 40 MPH. On top of all this, you’re also only a few steps away from gorgeous beach views, offering even more great shots to share on Instagram.

Apache Pier

There are several piers located around the Grand Strand but Apache Pier holds the crown of the largest in Myrtle Beach, jutting out 1,206 feet into the Atlantic Ocean. In fact, Apache Pier is the longest wooden fishing pier on the entire east coast! For a small entry fee, guests can stroll out onto the pier above the gentle rolling waves, enjoying cool ocean breezes and watching as pelicans soar down the coastline. You might even spy dolphins surfacing out past the breakers! Since the pier extends so far out into the ocean, it makes for one of the best spots to take a picture of the Grand Strand shoreline. In addition, fishing gear rentals are available, so you test your angling abilities and snap a shot of you hoisting a freshly-caught mackerel, flounder or red snapper!
